World population and the Launch of the 2024 state of the World Population Report

On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the Liberia Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services, participated in the celebration of World Population Day and the launch of the 2004 State of the World Population Report. The UNFPA organized the program with the theme of Embracing the power of Inclusive Data Toward a resilient and equitable future for all.

During the event, H. E. Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung led the celebration and the launch of the 2024 State of the World Population Report. The Vice President said his government would use evidence-based data to ensure people are at the heart of its development planning.
